Brains, Trains and Automobiles It's never a good idea to try to beat a train to the crossing when you're
taking your road test. A 22-year-old Dutch man got stuck on a railroad
crossing, but he and the licensing examiner were able to run to safety
before a train hit the car. The train dragged the car about 150 meters
down the track, but before they could check out the damage, a train coming
from the other direction hit the car and dragged it right back to them.
So, do you think the guy passed or failed? If you have to think about
it, then you've probably had a few close encounters yourself. Luckily,
common sense prevailed; the examiner flunked him, saying, "He didn't know
whether he was coming or going." - DailyDarwin.com Staff
