Freezer Burned

28-year-old Trevor Tasker of Selby, North Yorkshire, UK thought he'd found love on the Internet. Tasker and Wynema Faye Shumate of South Carolina, met on the Web and arranged to meet. Trevor flew to the US in hopes of meeting a sexy 30-something woman. However, when he got off the plane he realized he was seriously duped.

Wymena Faye ended up being a 65-year-old woman. Shumate had sent Tasker a semi-naked photo of herself from when she was 30 years younger and lured him with sexy chat. An already bad situation took a turn for the worse when Tasker politely went back to her home with her.

It seems she had been keeping her dead house mate, Jim O'Neil, stored in the freezer for the past year. Apparently, poor Jim died of natural causes a year earlier, after which Shumate continued to live in his house and spend his money.

Needless to say, Trevor Tasker hurried back to the UK and is rather discouraged about his "Internet connection." Wynema Faye Shumate was sentenced to a year in the pokey for "fraud and unlawful removal of a dead body."
