According to the Guyana Chronicle, a young female journalist from Guyana, South America was too heartbroken to give much thought to the deadly consequences of her actions last week.

After her boyfriend broke up with her and announced he had intentions of marrying another woman, Sharon Lall fell into a deep clinical depression. Not recognizing the symptoms of her condition, her ex-boyfriend (and pilot) Yacoob Mazaharally, agreed to take her for a ride in his four-passenger plane.

Unfortunately, he failed to practice safe security when he allowed Lall to load her own luggage. After the ex-couple was en route (accompanied by another woman and her nine-year-old child) Lall removed a large knife from her bag and began stabbing Mazaharally in the neck.

The other female passenger (who immediately realized they would all die if the pilot lost consciousness) jumped in to assist Mazaharally. The while the two women were fighting it out, Mazaharally wasted no time landing his airplane.

After seeking immediate medical treatment, he survived the attack. Lall was promptly arrested and is even more depressed now that she is facing charges of attempted murder.
